Rock 'm Hero I?
Give you're customers the feeling they're special and success will follow. The Guitar Hero series gives people this special feeling by making them play the guitar like a pro! Without the years of study and experience. The #4 is even broadening the potential. It also features the drum and microphone controllers for percussion and vocal parts.

These new features allows gamers to create new songs themselves. You can then upload and share your songs with other gamers.

Gameplay
Building upon the gameplay from the previous Guitar Hero versions the fourth one also simulates guitar playing by using guitar shaped controllers.
Some features were added though to make Guitar Hero 4 expand its gameplay beyond whatever the previous versions had to offer.
With number 4 you can play drums and sing vocals ànd you can play together in a virtual band with up to four players using these features.

Hitting notes correctly increases the rock meter which represents the song's performance. Missed notes however decrease your meter and if it drops too low the song ends abruptly.
When a song is completed successfully you gain (game) money that can be used to buy other guitars and outfits.

The interface itself didn't change that much. While the music plays and the notes scroll on your screen you gotta hold down the correct fret button(s) on the guitar controller. New in Guitar Hero 4 is the ability to play notes while holding a sustained note.

Are you the bass guitar player? To play your music just follow the 'open E string' represented by a solid line on the note track. There's no need to use the fret buttons.

The drum interface is similar to the guitar's interface. Hit the correct drum pads simultaneously to the highlighting notes. Playing a solo is possible and will gain you additional points. If your any good of course! Cool stuff.

The vocal track probably is the most difficult part of the game. Your voice has got to match the same pitch of the notes. Keep your neighbors in mind when you try this feature.

A last addition perhaps, a beginner level is added to Guitar Hero World Tour. Specially for the unskilled players who are not familiar with Guitar Hero.
